Back Story
Thanks for visiting. My name is Jeff Waffensmith, I am the inventor and founder of Hockey-Dot. As a former goon for the Golden Valley Hockey Association, I never spent the time required developing my puck skills, so instead of a lucrative NHL career, I went to school to become a product designer.
Fast forward 20 years, add a wife and 4 kids…While running drills for the youth association I would dream up different tools that could use while coaching. The image shown is an early prototype that would eventually evolve into the Underpass-X training Cone.
With years of helping other companies bring their products to market, I decided to combine my skills and experience to develop the products in a space that I was passionate about.
Family Owned
Hockey-Dot is a family business, everybody helps anyway they can, from testing products, assembling orders to the occasional modeling job.
Made In Minnesota
We are located in Minneapolis Minnesota. All of our manufacturing is done locally.
